NBA MVP RACE

The 2018 NBA MVP race is getting tighter and tighter, the star players were all showing off what they are capable of doing. So many young talents were proving the league that they belong. Injuries and slumps are making some players go lower on the ranking. This is just the temporary ranking, this will change during the playoffs series:

1. James Harden. The Houston Rockets is leading the league in standings, Harden is the leading scorer of the league. His clutch plays and play making ability prove the league that he is the number one, although Chris Paul is injured sometimes... he still manage to carry his team, Rockets is the favorite to win the finals because they have a player that can carry them up to the final quarter of the game.

2. Lebron James. Lebron is averaging almost triple double this season, he prove the league once more that he doesn't need a robin to reach the playoffs, although the Cavs is only sitting third in the east... they are still a force to reckoned with. At his age, Lebron James can still carry the team and lead them to finals once more.

3. Anthony Davis. Even though Demarcus Cousins is injured and will be out for the remaining of the season... Anthony Davis prove once more that he can carry the league and put them into playoffs. He leads his team in points and rebounds and also in blocks, he is a work horse and his numbers are very scary, his numbers is the evidence that they can reach the second round in playoffs.

4. Kevin Durant. Durant is still one of the league's pure scorers, the Warriors is only in a second place right now that's why his rank is low, I'm pretty sure that when the warriors swept some teams in the playoffs then his rank will go high again.

5. Damian Lillard. Blazers is the most improved team this year, thanks to Damian's scoring prowess and clutch play making ability. His rank will continue to rise especially when they pass the first round playoffs for the first time in how many years.

IS THE HOUSTON ROCKETS THE REAL DEAL?

Ask this question to James harden and he will never hesitate to answer you YES. Yes, the houston rockets is a legitimate contender to win the championship. They have defense now, Chris Paul is still the best point guard in the NBA, his defense is outstanding and his toughness is what is missing in Houston Rockets before, now that the entered the roster... the rockets were so tough and they feel that they can beat anybody.

James Harden is the leading scorer in the NBA, he is also leading in assist, he is the complete package to beat the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Rockets were so hungry, they are getting the respect now that they truly deserve.

Golden State Warriors is wounded, the Cavs has lost their identity. The Rockets were on a roll right now, they put up some winning streaks during tough stretches.

Harden is the most clutch player in the NBA now, this beard man is not afraid to take over during late stages of the game, he is fearless, he is so creative and the best defensive players in the NBA are so afraid to touch him. He is very good in selling calls may it be on three point line or in the shaded lane.

I think that the Houston Rockets can beat the Warriors in a 5 game series.

The offense of D'antoni is perfect for the players, they know their roles, they know what to do during late stages of the game.

This team has a killer instinct, their offense is better than the Warriors and their defense is much better than the Cavs. I think Chris Paul will have his first championship ring this season.

5 MATCH UPS THAT SHOULD HAPPEN IN UFC

We all have dream match ups in MMA, there are some fights that should happen no matter what the situation is. There are some situations where the fight cannot happen, dream fights and mega fights are really hard to see because of fighters' issues or needs. Fans are still hungry to see these fights and these fights should happen while there is still some time.

1. JON JONES VS. BROCK LESNAR - we all know that Jon Jones keeps on calling Brock Lesnar's name, this is a dream match up for every MMA fans in the planet. Two very good wrestlers, Brocks size is a huge advantage but Jone Jones' technical skills can play a different role in the fight. We all knew that both have steroids issues and it's hard for this fight to happen. All we can do is dream that both fighters someday will be tested clean.

2. CONOR MC GREGOR VS KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV - Conor is the best striker in MMA and Khabib on the other hand is the best wrestler. Two have huge fan base in the world, this fight can possible be the best record in pay per views. Conor has very huge demands that's why it's not happening yet, on the other hand.... Khabib let everyone know that once he had the belt he will not let Conor challenge him that easily, he wants Conor to work for it and beg for it which will never happen. The fighter's pride is getting on the way.

3. ANDERSON SILVA VS GEORGES ST. PIERRE - Anderson Silva is the most unpredictable fighter on the planet, he has good ground game too, he is the most technical striker in the MMA and very good in counter striking, his long arms and legs will play a huge advantage. On the other hand... GSP is the best wrestler in his division, his take downs are almost perfect, he even take down Michael Bisping easily in their fight. This fight will be the most anticipated fight in MMA history.

4. TJ DILLASHAW VS DEMETRIOUS JOHNSON - If you want to see a very technical, fast pace and cardio fight.... this is the fight to watch. Two of the most underrated fighters in MMA, TJ's fighting style is slowly catching up and his level is almost the same as Demetrious'. The only problem is the money, Dana White is not interested in giving DJ some pretty big cash, I don't know what's wrong with him.

5. CYBORG VS RONDA ROUSEY - I'm pretty sure that Ronda Rousey will return one day because she had an unfinished business with Cyborg, they two have some silent bad blood in the past and I know that they want to settle it on cage.

LEBRON JAMES BROKE MICHAEL JORDAN'S RECORD

Can we now call Lebron James as the GOAT? Lebron James broke Michael Jordans's record of consecutive games with double digit scoring. Lebron James made 867 consecutive games scoring 10 points or more, this record can only be achieved by the greatest players in the NBA history.

It's been a long time debate about who is the real GOAT, some people say it's Lebron, some people say it's still MJ.

We all know that Michael Jordan is the idol of Lebron James and Lebron himself will not deny that. In terms of athleticism and all around game we all know that MJ is no match for Lebron but in terms of winning mentality and being clutch, MJ has a very slight advantage to Lebron.

This debate will last for decades until someone finally made a name for himself. A lot of rookies wanted to prove something. There are new comers like Joel Embiid, Karl Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis, Lonzo Ball who are making a lot of noise.

One thing is for sure... Lebron James will do whatever it takes to beat Michael Jordan's legacy and he is very close of doing it.

KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV OR TONY FERGUSON?

UFC 223 is coming, the most awaited lightweight championship of all time will happen at last. I hope no one gets injured in their preparation.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is a beast, we all know that it's Khabib time but never underestimate Tony Ferguson, he is a different animal with weird and crazy techniques that's why a lot of fighters were so afraid to fight him.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is the fan favorite for this match up, even Dana White is rooting for him but don't be surprised if Tony submits him, his jiu jitsu is on a different level. His mentor Eddie Bravo is a beast and is proven to create a game plan that will work on any fighter at Khabib's level.

For sure, Khabib is not underestimating Tony, he is well prepared. The only question is... who is mentally tougher, I think tony has an edge when it comes to mental toughness because he s already battled tested and is proven that he can make a come back when he is down. Khabib on the other hand hasn't face anything like Tony yet, we haven't seen him behind in a fight and we don't know how will he react when tony cuts him.

In terms of conditioning... Tony Ferguson has an edge, we haven't seen him gassed out. We always see Khabib breathing heavily, we seen it during his fight with Gleison Thibau and Michael Johnson, if you take a look at his fight with Michael Johnson closely... he is breathing heavily while talking to Dana White, it just happens that Michael Johnson's spirit is already broken that's why he can't win anymore.

This is a very exciting fight and I'm sure Conor McGregor is watching in his house counting his millions of dollars.

Meanwhile on the under card... Joanna Jedrzejczyk will try to get her belt back from Rose Namajunas, Joanna is making a lot of excuses about her weight but Rose is secretly not believing it.

IS THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS IN TROUBLE RIGHT NOW?

Image result for warriors
We don't know what is the real situation of the golden state warriors right now, nobody knows, some people are saying that they are faking an injury, some people are saying that their superstars are just resting. But what we saw from Stephen Curry is real, he is really hurt. His knee is badly wounded and it needs some serious treatment.

With Klay Thompson and Draymond Green still sidelined with minor injuries... the momentum of the Warriors doesn't look good right now especially in a stacked and competitive western conference. I'm pretty sure James Harden and Chris Paul feels a little comfortable now, the Houston Rockets is a serious and legitimate contender for the Championship and they are really taking it seriously.

We don't know what is the real situation of the Warriors and what are the adjustments that they must do when the playoffs start running. They will pass the first round for sure but I don't know about the second round. If injuries never heal then they were so luck if they still made it to the western conference finals. Blazers were so hot, same as the Pelicans... never underestimate those teams. Kawhi Leonard and the Spurs still can't get enough of their dramas so I consider them as out of the competition.

If the Warriors want to repeat this season then they better cure Stephen Curry as fast as possible.

WHO IS THE REAL GOAT MICHAEL JORDAN OR KOBE BRYANT?

We all know that Kobe is fighting for the position of who is the real G.O.A.T the greatest of all time, of course Kobe has a case, he has the numbers to prove it, he won several championships, he is clutch, he can lead a team and be the real alpha male. The only question is did he done enough to beat the man we called "his airness".

If we will ask all the critics of course they will say unanimously that MJ is the best but just what like I said... Kobe has a case and he has a strong fan base too, a lot of fans thinks that Kobe is better than MJ.

If we will compare the statistics in points, field goals, steals, blocks, championships, MVPs, defensive player of the year awards... Kobe has no chance of winning the title of being the GOAT. So what chance does he have? I don't know too, let yourself be the judge.

IS CONOR MC GREGOR GOING TO MAKE A COMEBACK?

Nobody knows if Conor McGregor will still come back, a lot of Irish fans were itching for his comeback, Dana White hasn't spoken yet, he is still quiet about the negotiations being made. One thing is for sure... Tony Ferguson VS Khabib Nurmagomedov will be one hell of a fight and we all know that Conor will be watching this fight.

We all know that Conor Mcgregor is worth a hundred million dollars which by the way UFC cannot afford and will not afford. Dana will be very much hesitant to give it to Conor because he is protecting the business. Once the other fighters learned that UFC can pay that huge amount of money then for sure they will ask for more. A lot of greedy fighters will ask for a raise and that will be the biggest problem of UFC.

A lot of fighters were complaining about their salary, what more if they learned that the UFC can pay more.

We all know that Conor McGregor is a warrior, it just happens that the business side cannot be done. He is a mega star and nobody can deny that. If he comes back this year then that would be a huge draw, but for the mean time he is enjoying the notorious whiskey and shopping at the biggest malls in Las Vegas.

Top Three - Most Clutch Players In NBA

Well, here is the most accurate top three list of the most clutch players in the NBA, this is according to the number of clutch shots they made, percentages and importance of the game. Being clutch is what wins championships you can score zero in the first three quarters but you can score 20 points in the final quarter. These players have made their name and reputation of being clutch, when the game is on the line you should pass the ball to these players:

1. Michael Jordan - You can never count the game winning baskets of Michael Jordan, whether if it is only 2 or 1 second remaining on the clock.. the can still shoot it, you cannot guard him. Michael Jordan is unguardable, nobody can stop him, he can score anytime he wants to. That's why the chicago bulls have won multiple championships, MJ will decide what to do during the last seconds and 90 percent of his decisions were all right. Sometimes he will pass the ball but all of those passes were never wasted.

2. Larry Bird - Fade away, hook shot, no look shot... name it and Larry Bird will do it. This player is deadly, he is very creative when taking shots. You don't even know where the moves are coming from, he is so unpredictable. A lot of opponent's coaches almost have a heart attack every time Larry throws up a prayer.

3. Kobe Bryant - He is not afraid to take the shot, even if he doesn't have confidence because of having a bad game... he will still take the shot. Give it to Kobe and you will never regret it. He is the closest person to Michael Jordan when it comes to taking over the game during the dying seconds.

Gonzaga survive an opening round against UNGC

IS THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS IN DANGER NOW?

Well, it's safe to say that they are going to make it to the second round but it's hard to say if they can make it to the eastern conference finals. Kyrie Irving is gone now, Kevin Love is out and the newly recruit players such as Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. shows no promise consistency. We don't know if Lebron James is happy after the trade but his numbers is not going down, we all know that Lebron "the King" James will elevate his game during the playoffs but we don't know if the supporting cast can deliver.

Lack of defense maybe the number one reason why Cavs is falling, Tryon Lue's job maybe in jeopardy if he can't make the Cavs reach the finals this season. J.R Smith's soup drama with the coaching stuff was already forgotten but Kyle Korver's shooting is not that consistent.

It's still 15 plus games for the Cavs and they can still put themselves on a better position to succeed. Right now they are on the 4th spot in east. Meanwhile, Toronto Raptors maybe locked in for the number one spot and Boston Celtics may take the second place.

The Cavs is pretty much sure to pass the first round but the question is... who will they face in the second round? Washington Wizards is deadly, Bradley Beal is proving them all why he is an all star this year, John Wall is recovering and he might be on the right timing for the come back.

What should the Cavs do? They should focus on defense, it is the only thing that might bring them to championship once again, Kevin Love should force the recovery and should play a couple of games before the playoffs.

Whether it is the end of the streak of Lebron James reaching the finals, the biggest problem that Cavs is facing is will Lebron James come back next season?
