Definitely they are, they Lakers are in big trouble right now. The Denver Nuggets were able to see what they are made of. The tricks of the Lakers were exposed, Anthony Davis can't grab rebounds and Lebron James is choking again in the end game, don't worry Lakers fans because it's too early to say that the  Nuggets will win the series but the problem here is... once the Nuggets were so unstoppable once they see a little hope. The Lakers should have step on the neck of this Nuggets team and bury them alive but the problem is they celebrated too early, they think that the Nuggets is just an ordinary team. Nikola Jokic keep saying then need to keep fighting, this man's heart is made of steel, together with Jamal Murray the Nuggets can rise to the top and make it to the finals. 

What the Lakers should do? they should play big, they were not playing big, they're not dominating the boards. Imagine Dwight Howard, Anthony Davis and Javale Mcgee having only 4 rebounds combined. They are playing small, Lebron will always be Lebron he will score 20 plus points with a couple of assists and rebounds but he needs some help because he is not getting younger anymore. The self proclaimed king is also getting tired, some are even calling him a washed up player. But he is not, he is still effective, he can still produce aerial dunks that can put fear into opponents.

CAN ZION WILLIAMSON OVERTAKE JA MORANT FOR THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR?

We didn't expect this, everyone thought Zion Williamson died a few months ago. Some analysts were even thinking that he is a bust. Some people were making fun of him, that he is fat, he is not NBA ready and has a potential to become the next Greg Oden. But look were he is now... averaging more than 21 points and 7 rebounds per game. While on the other side Ja Morant is averaging more than 17 points per game and 7 Assists per game but the media looks like giving their votes to Zion because of the impact that he made right away after coming back from a serious knee injury.

The Pelicans were on a roll right now, they were still 5 games behind by the Memphis Grizzlies but it's still a long way to go because they still have 30 plus more games left. Zion is playing like a bully, bullying grown men and making them look like kids. With his size and athleticism Zion can't be stopped once he enter the paint. His field goal percentage is more than 50 percent, his passing skills were also good. According to his teammates, Zion is a good teammate and can spark the whole team whenever he needs to. Memphis Grizzlies were hot too and competing against the best teams in the west. Ja Morant almost made it to the All star team but the commissioner chooses Devin Booker instead.

According to Stephen Smith of ESPN if the Pelicans can overtake the Memphis Grizzlies for the 8th spot in the west then Zion Williamson will be the Rookie of the year but if not then it will be landslide victory for Ja Morant. A lot of players and coaches were comparing Ja Morant to Russell Westbrook in terms of aggression and passion for the game, according to Ja, Westbrook was his idol and he loves competing against him.

IS ZION WILLIAMSON GOING TO GET BETTER THAN LEBRON JAMES?

There is a lot of comparisons going on between Lebron James and Zion Williamson. Most people were saying that Zion is just an ordinary muscleman who can jump 48 inches and that's it, they say that Zion is nowhere near Lebron James. Maybe it's true but when it comes to loyalty and sticking with only one team... Zion has the potential to stay with Pelicans forever. The kid said he wants to be like Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki and Tim Duncan that stays with one team only. It only means Zion is not about popularity, he is about doing everything for a team that drafted him.

We all know Lebron James is not a symbol of perseverance and fighting until the end, this king will quit once he found out that his team is weaker than the opposing team. He has a reputation of blaming his teammates too and finding a scapegoat that he can blame when everything else falls apart.

Zion's potential cannot be measure for now but his loyalty was already unbelievable. He may not give you rings but he will stick with you until the end. 

IS LEBRON JAMES A WASHED UP PLAYER ALREADY?

This was a hot debate in the internet right now, was Lebron James a washed up player already? was he already past his prime? is he really relying one the strength of Anthony Davis to get the 4th to sixth ring to eclipse Michael Jordan's greatness? We all know that the self-proclaimed goat has still has some fire left in his tank and he can still dunk a reverse power jam but that's it. He can no longer defend, he's the worst 2 way player we've ever seen last season. He can no longer beat Paul George and Kawhi Leonard as the best 2 way player in the NBA. We've seen him always tiring during the toughest stretch of a pressure ball game and is no longer defending the perimeter. We even see him blaming his teammates just to sway the attention of media from him.

But we all know that he can still average 28ppg and 7 rebounds in sleep but the question is... does he have an extra gear for the playoffs like what we use to see from him before? can he still carry the Los Angeles Lakers to western conference finals? Kawhi Leonard has a very strong momentum on him and according to his uncle Kawhi was so happy in this stage of his career. This is a bad new for the Lakers, Paul George on the other hand is willing to become the second option and be Kawhi's right hand. Plus the Los Angeles Clippers is loaded with dirty players like Patrick Beverly who can injure a star player during playoffs (remember what he did with Russell Westbrook) and Lou Williams who doesn't care about defenders during 4th quarter, Lou Williams is even more clutch than Lebron James and he can score 10 plus points in 4th quarter easily. 

A KING IS A KING

Lebron James is still the king, we all know that but his mileage was already too high and it's questionable if he has that MJ's mentality in him, if he can't win a championship this season then Anthony Davis might leave him. But it's too early to say that, a king is a king, Lebron is still a winner, he has that basketball smarts that was unprecedented and he has a body of a raging football player that can force anyone. He still that experience and name in him, he can still sell calls and control the whole game if he wants to. He will never be a 4 time MVP for nothing, it ll depends on how healthy he is.

Most people were laughing at Lebron James now because they don't believe in him anymore but the power is still in Lebron's hands. He is the only one who knows if he still has it or not.

JAMES HARDEN BELIEVES HE IS THE MVP AGAIN

The NBA season is almost over and it's time to pick an MVP. The strong candidates were Giannis Antetekoumpo, Paul George, Stephen Curry and James Harden.

James Harden believes that he is the MVP because he is the leading scorer averaging 36.7 points per game, very close to the highest scoring season of Michael Jordan which is 37.8 ppg.

"I did everything to help my team win, despite of the countless injuries, we still manage to stay competitive. We never quit, we're resilient and we will use this strong momentum for playoffs." - James Harden.

Paul George is averaging season best 28.7 ppg while Giannis A. is averaging 27.8 ppg and 12.9 rpg.

IS JAMES HARDEN THE WORST FLOPPER IN THE NBA?

The Houston Rockets beat the Los Angeles Lakers again 126-111 with James Harden scoring 50 plus points and a couple of assists and rebounds. The issue here is James Harden was favored by the officials, he went on the line 18 times, the referees were calling fouls every time James Harden drive to the basket. This frustrates Lebron James and the whole Lakers team.

"It's obvious that there are some calls that are not right, this is unacceptable" - Lebron James.

It's a bad officiating night but let's give credit to James Harden who can manipulate the rules in the NBA very well, he is very good in selling calls but there are lot of NBA players who were mad at him because he always flops especially at the end of the ball game. He is very good in acting like he was fouled, the most painful part is you will foul him on the three point line. Sometimes he has no intention of shooting it, he was just really good in making the officials blew their whistle.

James Harden is a great player but most NBA players and analysts were calling him a flopper.

 " It is what it is, the officials were calling the fouls, I am playing honest basketball here, I'm just giving my best and trying to win the game for my team" - James Harden.

With the new rules of the NBA, the evolving calls, most players cannot be touched nowadays, just a little bump then you will be called foul. It's hard to play honest defense nowadays, every hand check will be called, every slight push will be called especially if you are guarding an elite player like James Harden.

The NBA officials were having a hard time making the right call because some players were really good actors, an MVP caliber like James Harden is the toughest to guard because he makes a living on the free throw line, he is the best at selling calls and pretending that he is hurt.

The NBA officiating must be corrected properly so that we can watch the best games, the best honest games without the help of the referees, sometimes the referees were dictating the game and the wisest players were thriving the most.

A twitter poll conducted by an NBA fan says that James Harden is the worst flopper in the NBA history, sometimes he looks like he is cheating, twitter users voted 3 million votes about who is the most flopper in the NBA and James Harden won the contest unanimously.

But it's ok, just like the old saying "if it is working then don't stop it" that's why James keep evolving as a player, the only missing link in his game is defense, if James Harden wants to win championships then he must learn how to play defense, he must use his lateral quickness to guard the player that he is guarding. No doubt he is one of the best but he needs to play defense all the time and not only when he wants to.

Kevin Durant is working hard this summer and has already declared to the world that he is planning to have an MVP season this year.

He hired a training stuff that will add something into his skills. He said that he is willing to do whatever it takes to become a champion again and become an MVP again, he miss the feeling of winning the MVP.

A lot of people were thinking that maybe Kevin Durant is jealous of Lebron James having 4 MVPs. Media is not kind to Kecind Durant nowadays and they were inventing stories to make him feel bad.

Kevin is a strong competitor and we all know that he doesn't back down to any challenge.

CARMELO ANTHONY AND THE HOUSTON ROCKETS Will make a NAME FOR THEMSELVES THIS SEASON!

It's a bad news for the whole NBA league. Carmelo Anthony is really mad now, the HOUSTON ROCKETS is in full support. Most of the league is disrespecting Carmelo Anthony last year. Even Jason Tatum and Kevin Know who hasn't proven anything yet in the league are mocking him.

Carmelo was once the best scorer in the league and he is averaging over 26.5 ppg in his whole career if I am not mistaken. He is like a bull in the post, his mid range and long range shots were unguardable. Stephen Smith is true... Phil Jackson devalued Melo by always criticizing him and putting him on the trade list while he was still in New York Knicks team. He go to Oklahoma and things went salty in him. Paul George, Russell Westbrook and him didn't have a good chemistry tha's why they get upset by the young Utah Jazz team led by the outstanding rookie in the name of Donovan Mitchell.

Carmelo Anthony was surprised when the OKC waived him during the free agency stage. He never thought that a player as good as him will be treated like a garbage. A lot of teams pursue him but the Houston Rockets is his preferred destination.

Now that he is with his buddy Chris Paul together with the MVP James Harden, the Houston Rockets were unstoppable now. I'm pretty sure Stephen Curry is worried right now same as Kevin Durant.

It's true that the Golden State Warriors are still the best team but the Houston Rockets is a big threat, many people thought that they just got lucky last year because Chris Paul got injured but now that Chris is back with Melo then it's completely different story.

They lost Trevor Ariza because they can't give him the money but Melo is a big upgrade, he plays defense too and he is a big mismatch on the post. He, Paul and harden is a big headache to any coac of the team.

Fans were so excited with the development of the Houston Rockets team, on the other hand... the fans of Golden State warriors were so worried because they knew that Melo is a big threat to their 3 peat this season. Last season the Houston Rockets pushed the Warriors to game 7 without Melo, what more if Melo is on the line up?

KOBE BRYANT SAID THAT Los Angeles LAKERS has a big chance of DOMINATING THE SEASON!

Lebron, already 33 years old is still in his prime and can still average a triple double this season. The first round of NBA playoffs is about to begin in just a few days. The Golden State Warriors will be facing the San Antonio spurs in the first round, this is a rivalry that most fans are waiting for.

Kawhi Leonard will be out, no signs of him coming back but the Spurs have showed some firepower in the late season, Manu Ginobili is still there together with fire power power forward Lamarcus Aldridge who is averaging 20 plus pts this season, his best season in Spurs.

Stephen Curry is still out but Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson for sure will carry the struggling Golden State Warriors.

The Los Angeles found a new hope in the name of Brandon Ingram, a 32 year old rookie coming from G-league. In his debut, Ingram scores 19 pts in 20 plus minutes of action. Chris Paul was impressed by the 32 year old rookie.

Is he the next KOBE BRYANT? definitely not but his leadership skills and inspiration brings a new element for the struggling Lakers team, I'm sure he will get an extension for the next season. The Lakers didn't found success from Lonzo Ball but at least Ingram is giving them a reason to stay positive.

THE 2018 NBA PLAYOFFS IS COMING

We're just a few days away from watching the greatness again, the 2018 NBA playoffs is coming. It is the most anticipated playoffs ever. There are lot of dramas that we've seen during the regular season. The Cleveland Cavaliers made a lot of crazy trades, there are lot of season ending injuries that changes the shape of the league. Demarcus Cousins was out, Kyrie Irving won't play in the playoffs, Stephen Curry was still questionable, we don't know what is going on with Kawhi Leonard's life.

The Houston Rockets was steady and they are the favorite to win the championship, Toronto Raptors made a huge improvement and they think they are ready to dethrone King Lebron James. The Philadelphia 76ers is showing bright chances of winning the Easter Conference, Ben Simmons is awesome so as Joel Embiid who is likely to comeback in the first round of elimination.

Portland Traiblazers made a run that gives them security on the third spot, Utah Jazz surprised the league once more and is playing really great lead by their super rookie Donovan Mitchell.

Anthony Davis' MVP numbers is carrying the Pelicans who was supported by the emerging point guard Rajon Rondo, who finally found a home that will embrace his play making abilities.

Golden State Warriors is still a contender but a lot of experts feel that they don't have it anymore, the injuries were weakening them and the Houston Rockets is outplaying them in the regular season.

On the other hand Golden State Warriors' ace shooting guard Klay Thompson finally returned, Klay was sidelined for several games due to finger injury. Golden State Warriors is wounded, the Cavs has lost their identity. The Rockets were on a roll right now, they put up some winning streaks during tough stretches.

Harden is the most clutch player in the NBA now, this beard man is not afraid to take over during late stages of the game, he is fearless, he is so creative and the best defensive players in the NBA are so afraid to touch him. He is very good in selling calls may it be on three point line or in the shaded lane.

I think that the Houston Rockets can beat the Warriors in a 5 game series.

The offense of D'antoni is perfect for the players, they know their roles, they know what to do during late stages of the game.

This team has a killer instinct, their offense is better than the Warriors and their defense is much better than the Cavs. I think Chris Paul will have his first championship ring this season.

LEBRON JAMES BROKE MICHAEL JORDAN'S RECORD

Can we now call Lebron James as the GOAT? Lebron James broke Michael Jordans's record of consecutive games with double digit scoring. Lebron James made 867 consecutive games scoring 10 points or more, this record can only be achieved by the greatest players in the NBA history.

It's been a long time debate about who is the real GOAT, some people say it's Lebron, some people say it's still MJ.

We all know that Michael Jordan is the idol of Lebron James and Lebron himself will not deny that. In terms of athleticism and all around game we all know that MJ is no match for Lebron but in terms of winning mentality and being clutch, MJ has a very slight advantage to Lebron.

This debate will last for decades until someone finally made a name for himself. A lot of rookies wanted to prove something. There are new comers like Joel Embiid, Karl Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis, Lonzo Ball who are making a lot of noise.

One thing is for sure... Lebron James will do whatever it takes to beat Michael Jordan's legacy and he is very close of doing it.

EARLY POWER RANKINGS IN NBA

I know it is too early to judge, I know it's just a few games but after seeing some of the games... you can tell clearly who is going to make it to the playoffs and who's not. With the brutal injury of Gordon Hayward, the Boston Celtics can be easily ruled out of the championship run. No one is happy about it but that event will make the Cavaliers find it's easy way to the finals again.

1. Cleveland Cavaliers. With the addition of Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Jeff Green and Isiah Thomas the Cavs are clearly the favorite to win the championship. Wade maybe old but let's not forget how an animal he is when winning time is around.  Derrick Rose is back on his MVP form again plus when Isiah Thomas is back... the Cavs is a big problem to any team they face in the playoffs.

2. San Antonio Spurs. Great addition is Rudy Gay, he can still play and add some deep energy in scoring. Lamarcus Aldridge is happy and Kawhi will be back in a few weeks. The Spurs have a great coach and system that will make them very competitive this season.

3. Golden State Warriors. They are clearly not hungry like before. They were already satisfied but don't count them out yet. When it is already playoffs atmosphere, the Golden state Warriors will show who they really are.

4. Los Angeles Clippers. Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan has the best front court tandem in the NBA, they were still in their prime and can still give inhuman highlights every single night. Blake is in good shape so as Jordan. They have great additions like Teodosic and Gallinari. It seems like the exit of Chris Paul will not be felt this year.

5. Oklahoma City Thunder. Their newly formed big three is making a lot of noise but the question is chemistry. Those three are all ball hogs, they cannot express their game if they don't have enough touches. But we will see, hoodie Melo is a good leader, George has low ego and Westbrook already won an MVP so we expect him not to do so much anymore.

WHAT IS NEXT FOR GORDON HAYWARD?

It's a sad news for the Boston Celtics die hard fans because what seems to be a bright season this year turns into worries and fears. Gordon Hayward, one of the best players in his position suffered a severe injury this week. It's evident that Gordon Hayward won't be able to play this season but the good new is... he is only 27 years old. I am very sure Gordon Hayward can come back stronger and better than ever. He has a very strong work ethic and he has proven it time and time again that he has a very strong mental game.

His injury is somewhat similar to Oklahoma Thunder's all star forward in the name of Paul George. Paul suffered a sever injury, a broken leg but he manged to come back stronger and even lead the Indiana Pacers to another playoff run.

The good news is the doctors nowadays were very good, there are high tech facilities that can cure the injured leg of Gordon Hayward. There is no specific timetable yet for his return but this kind of injury usually can be healed for more or less a year. Boston Celtics has one of the best rehabilitation program in the NBA, I am very sure that Gordon Hayward was in good hands.

CAN THE BOSTON CELTICS REACH THE PLAYOFFS WITHOUT GORDON HAYWARD?

Definitely yes, Kyrie "Uncle Drew" is still there plus the budding high flying sophomore guard in the name of Jaylen Brown is starting to become a star. Jaylen is giving the Boston Celtics loyalist a hope after showing an impressive performance against the Celeveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks. Jaylen Brown is averaging 20+ ppg after two games. The only question is the Bench of the Boston Celtics... after trading Isiah Thomas, Avery Bradley and Olynik and other good players... the Celtics is not deep anymore unlike before. To be honest, they are even a better team last season because the chemistry is already there and the whole team love each other. Danny Ainge seems to be so greedy and ambitious, after hoarding a lot of draft picks... he is not satisfied with the line up last year that is why he shuffles it.

IT'S TIME FOR BIG AL HORFORD TO SHOW THAT HE HAS A LOT OF GAS LEFT IN HIS TANK.

Al Horford must show his A+ skills every game if they want to survive this season. Horford is not showing his superb skills that he use to showcase before when he was still in Atlnata. Maybe he is aging or maybe he is not motivated anymore, I don't know, only Al knows that. Horford must show up every game and bring his all star skills on the table if he wants to pass the second round playoffs. Marcus Smart is showing some flashes of brilliance but he is not a legitimate scorer and he is very inconsistent in scoring. Baynes must enforce his muscle on the paint and should average at least close to double double this season.

PREDICTION FOR BOSTON CELTICS: They will pass the second round, they will be beaten by the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1. Kyrie Irving will become a member of All NBA second team.
