LEBRON JAMES IS STILL ALIVE

 

He is still alive, averaging 20 plus points with assists and rebounds. Many of the critics are counting him out but the King is still fighting, he still believe that he can surpass Michael Jordan, he has the aura of a real basketball player. His will is still stronger than ever and he keeps on showing up when it matters the most. A lot of gossips were saying that he will go co Cleveland, it may be true but his focus is to win his 5th ring in Lakers and shut the mouths of haters. Lebron is still competitive, aggressive and flying like a college player trying to impress the scouts, while most people think that he is already out of his prime it is the complete opposite of what we are seeing today, Lebron James may lost a little bit of leaping ability but his wisdom, clutch genes and ability to make the right plays in the end is still there. He is still a top 5 player nowadays and still has a chance of making it to All NBA first team or even win the MVP. His defense is still elite running up and down the court with elite footwork and insane cardio. This man is a beast when playoff comes, he can increase his average from 20 to thirty on any given night that is why he is still dangerous and most teams are afraid of facing the Lakers on playoffs. 

His preferred destination next season is Cleveland, OKC or maybe spurs but it's not yet the focus right now. The focus is to win Championship with the help of Luka and Austin Reaves. Lebron at the age of 41 still continue to shut down doubters and haters and prove that he is the number one candidate for the GOAT status, in my opinion he can still play for 5 more years at the highest level and chase the 50,000 point mark for the scoring record. His greatness will never stop, although he lost a lot of times during finals that record will never tarnish his legacy. 

CAN THE LAKERS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP THIS SEASON?

Now that Anthony Davis, Lebron James and Russell Westbrook were teammates, the big question is can they win a championship right away? the world was shocked of this news, three of the most dominant players, probably all of them were on top ten best players on the league right now. The question is can they co-exist? will there be a chemistry issues? We all know that both Lebron and Russell are ball dominant and they need the ball in order to create big plays, are they going to compliment each other? Russell Westbrook have a history with Kevin Durant about who is going to handle the ball during the late stage of the ball game, will this problem occur in this new Laker team? 

Is the showtime back? is Anthony Davis going to be 100 percent healthy this season? Is Lebron James already washed up? these are the few puzzles that Lakers should solve if they want to have a serious title run again this season. And one more thing, is their bench enough to give some relief when the stars can't produce anymore because of fatigue or injuries?

We all know what Russell Westbrook is a dynamic player with relentless work ethic that can hurt or carry the team, sometimes his passion is not helping because of forcing too much plays. Will Lebron James allow this? can he play like a triple double machine like he always did?

There is a lot of comparisons going on between Lebron James and Zion Williamson. Most people were saying that Zion is just an ordinary muscleman who can jump 48 inches and that's it, they say that Zion is nowhere near Lebron James. Maybe it's true but when it comes to loyalty and sticking with only one team... Zion has the potential to stay with Pelicans forever. The kid said he wants to be like Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki and Tim Duncan that stays with one team only. It only means Zion is not about popularity, he is about doing everything for a team that drafted him.

We all know Lebron James is not a symbol of perseverance and fighting until the end, this king will quit once he found out that his team is weaker than the opposing team. He has a reputation of blaming his teammates too and finding a scapegoat that he can blame when everything else falls apart.

Zion's potential cannot be measure for now but his loyalty was already unbelievable. He may not give you rings but he will stick with you until the end. 

IS LEBRON'S TACO TUESDAY GETTING CORNIER THAN EVER?

A lot of people in social media were already sick and tired of Lebron James's taco tuesday, according to them Lebron is an attention seeker and wants to be talked about all the time. Maybe it's true, Lebron is trying hard too much. He doesn't need to do that and most people doesn't like it. It looks like he's having a lot of fun but do you still need to video yourself if you're really having fun. He's acting like a kid but he's not cool at all. Taco tuesday was not originally created by him, he just copied it and he gets cornier and cornier every time he do it. Lebron's focus clearly was not it basketball, his focus is about entertainment and business. I will not be surprise if Lakers can't even make it to the playoffs this season.

If Lebron James wants to become the King again, he better get his mind right because it's not on the right place. He should focus on looking for a fountain of youth because his legs ain't that fresh like it use to be. Enough is enough, he is playing too much, he is trying to impress people that he's a good entertainer but the reality is he just looks trying hard. If he really wants to become the king then he should focus on basketball and stop doing nonsense things like taco tuesday. It's not even funny at all, I'm a big Lebron fan but it looks so corny for me. His wife doesn't even like it, his kids were forced to join him but it's clear that they're so sick and tired of it. 

IS LEBRON JAMES A WASHED UP PLAYER ALREADY?

This was a hot debate in the internet right now, was Lebron James a washed up player already? was he already past his prime? is he really relying one the strength of Anthony Davis to get the 4th to sixth ring to eclipse Michael Jordan's greatness? We all know that the self-proclaimed goat has still has some fire left in his tank and he can still dunk a reverse power jam but that's it. He can no longer defend, he's the worst 2 way player we've ever seen last season. He can no longer beat Paul George and Kawhi Leonard as the best 2 way player in the NBA. We've seen him always tiring during the toughest stretch of a pressure ball game and is no longer defending the perimeter. We even see him blaming his teammates just to sway the attention of media from him.

But we all know that he can still average 28ppg and 7 rebounds in sleep but the question is... does he have an extra gear for the playoffs like what we use to see from him before? can he still carry the Los Angeles Lakers to western conference finals? Kawhi Leonard has a very strong momentum on him and according to his uncle Kawhi was so happy in this stage of his career. This is a bad new for the Lakers, Paul George on the other hand is willing to become the second option and be Kawhi's right hand. Plus the Los Angeles Clippers is loaded with dirty players like Patrick Beverly who can injure a star player during playoffs (remember what he did with Russell Westbrook) and Lou Williams who doesn't care about defenders during 4th quarter, Lou Williams is even more clutch than Lebron James and he can score 10 plus points in 4th quarter easily. 

A KING IS A KING

Lebron James is still the king, we all know that but his mileage was already too high and it's questionable if he has that MJ's mentality in him, if he can't win a championship this season then Anthony Davis might leave him. But it's too early to say that, a king is a king, Lebron is still a winner, he has that basketball smarts that was unprecedented and he has a body of a raging football player that can force anyone. He still that experience and name in him, he can still sell calls and control the whole game if he wants to. He will never be a 4 time MVP for nothing, it ll depends on how healthy he is.

Most people were laughing at Lebron James now because they don't believe in him anymore but the power is still in Lebron's hands. He is the only one who knows if he still has it or not.

LEBRON JAMES PLAYOFF MODE ACTIVATED

Lebron James told the press a while ago that he will lead the Los Angeles Lakers to finals and he will activate the playoff mode, he never fail and he walk the talk. The los angeles lakers comeback after trailing by as large as 19 points in the second half. Lebron led the team with 27 pts, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.

James Harden fouled out in the game with 1:37 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. With the win, the lakers team improved to a 29-29 record, their hopes on making it to the playoffs is still bright. They're only 2 games away from making it to the 8th spot in the west.

"I think most guys were in a sense of urgency right now, I'm proud of my teammates, Kuzma and Brandon Ingram were so aggressive tonight and we need that every single game if we want to make it to the Finals" - Lebron James.

Chris Paul finished with a triple double and James Harden finish with 30 points. Media is criticizing him for caring too much about his streak rather than leading the team. 

LEBRON JAMES STEAL THE SPOT OF STEPHEN CURRY AS BEING CAPTAIN OF THE ALL STAR

Lebron James stole the spot of Stephen curry as the Captain on NBA all star in western conference. Lebron became the leading vote getter in west and that automatically appoints him as the team captain. Last year, the two were both captains with Lebron James being the leader of the eastern conference and Stephen Curry on the West. But this year is different, Lebron James transferred to west and he immediately take over as the number one vote getter.

It only proves that Lebron James is still the most popular NBA layer in the league despite of his age and criticisms from the media. Lebron James is still far from retiring, he is still averaging super star numbers and can compete with anybody in the league.

Lebron James will be joined by Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Paul George and James harden for the starting five. On the other hand... Giannis Antetekoumnpo will be the team captain of the east and he will be joined by Kemba Walker, Kyrie Irving, Joel Embiid and Kawhi Leonard.

Luka Doncic was favored on the earlier voting but suddenly his votes go down during the later stretch of the All Star ballot. 

IS JAMES HARDEN THE WORST FLOPPER IN THE NBA?

The Houston Rockets beat the Los Angeles Lakers again 126-111 with James Harden scoring 50 plus points and a couple of assists and rebounds. The issue here is James Harden was favored by the officials, he went on the line 18 times, the referees were calling fouls every time James Harden drive to the basket. This frustrates Lebron James and the whole Lakers team.

"It's obvious that there are some calls that are not right, this is unacceptable" - Lebron James.

It's a bad officiating night but let's give credit to James Harden who can manipulate the rules in the NBA very well, he is very good in selling calls but there are lot of NBA players who were mad at him because he always flops especially at the end of the ball game. He is very good in acting like he was fouled, the most painful part is you will foul him on the three point line. Sometimes he has no intention of shooting it, he was just really good in making the officials blew their whistle.

James Harden is a great player but most NBA players and analysts were calling him a flopper.

 " It is what it is, the officials were calling the fouls, I am playing honest basketball here, I'm just giving my best and trying to win the game for my team" - James Harden.

With the new rules of the NBA, the evolving calls, most players cannot be touched nowadays, just a little bump then you will be called foul. It's hard to play honest defense nowadays, every hand check will be called, every slight push will be called especially if you are guarding an elite player like James Harden.

The NBA officials were having a hard time making the right call because some players were really good actors, an MVP caliber like James Harden is the toughest to guard because he makes a living on the free throw line, he is the best at selling calls and pretending that he is hurt.

The NBA officiating must be corrected properly so that we can watch the best games, the best honest games without the help of the referees, sometimes the referees were dictating the game and the wisest players were thriving the most.

A twitter poll conducted by an NBA fan says that James Harden is the worst flopper in the NBA history, sometimes he looks like he is cheating, twitter users voted 3 million votes about who is the most flopper in the NBA and James Harden won the contest unanimously.

But it's ok, just like the old saying "if it is working then don't stop it" that's why James keep evolving as a player, the only missing link in his game is defense, if James Harden wants to win championships then he must learn how to play defense, he must use his lateral quickness to guard the player that he is guarding. No doubt he is one of the best but he needs to play defense all the time and not only when he wants to.

CARMELO ANTHONY WILL BE JOINING LAKERS ANYTIME SOON?

This is a dream come true to all the Los Angeles Lakers fan out there. The new weapon will arrive, Carmelo Anthony, one of the best forwards in the league will soon join the Lakers sources says.

His tenure with the Houston Rockets didn't end up very well, Mike D' Antoni put Melo on bench, something that doesn't work well with the talent that Carmelo possess. He only averaged a career low 15.2 ppg in his ten games with Houston Rockets while also playing a career low of 25.8 minutes per ball game.

According to a reliable sources, Lebron James wanted Carmelo badly on his team, he is one of the closest friend of Melo and the two can play very well with each other. Carmelo is a little bit disappointed but according to his agent he is still practicing at they gym and still in perfect shape after a couple of missed games due to being kicked out by the Houston Rockets.

"He is a very good teammate here, he is very professional, he is a good leader and I love him to stay with our team, it's just that some things are not in my control, if I am the GM here I will let Melo stay with the Rockets and let him lead us in the playoffs. Carmelo is only 34 years old, his averages are going down because he teamed up with ball hog teammates like Russell Westbrook back in the OKC and James Harden in Houston Rockets. If Melo is the first option then for sure he will still average more than 25.3 ppg.

THE 2018 NBA PLAYOFFS IS COMING

We're just a few days away from watching the greatness again, the 2018 NBA playoffs is coming. It is the most anticipated playoffs ever. There are lot of dramas that we've seen during the regular season. The Cleveland Cavaliers made a lot of crazy trades, there are lot of season ending injuries that changes the shape of the league. Demarcus Cousins was out, Kyrie Irving won't play in the playoffs, Stephen Curry was still questionable, we don't know what is going on with Kawhi Leonard's life.

The Houston Rockets was steady and they are the favorite to win the championship, Toronto Raptors made a huge improvement and they think they are ready to dethrone King Lebron James. The Philadelphia 76ers is showing bright chances of winning the Easter Conference, Ben Simmons is awesome so as Joel Embiid who is likely to comeback in the first round of elimination.

Portland Traiblazers made a run that gives them security on the third spot, Utah Jazz surprised the league once more and is playing really great lead by their super rookie Donovan Mitchell.

Anthony Davis' MVP numbers is carrying the Pelicans who was supported by the emerging point guard Rajon Rondo, who finally found a home that will embrace his play making abilities.

Golden State Warriors is still a contender but a lot of experts feel that they don't have it anymore, the injuries were weakening them and the Houston Rockets is outplaying them in the regular season.

The 2018 NBA MVP race is getting tighter and tighter, the star players were all showing off what they are capable of doing. So many young talents were proving the league that they belong. Injuries and slumps are making some players go lower on the ranking. This is just the temporary ranking, this will change during the playoffs series:

1. James Harden. The Houston Rockets is leading the league in standings, Harden is the leading scorer of the league. His clutch plays and play making ability prove the league that he is the number one, although Chris Paul is injured sometimes... he still manage to carry his team, Rockets is the favorite to win the finals because they have a player that can carry them up to the final quarter of the game.

2. Lebron James. Lebron is averaging almost triple double this season, he prove the league once more that he doesn't need a robin to reach the playoffs, although the Cavs is only sitting third in the east... they are still a force to reckoned with. At his age, Lebron James can still carry the team and lead them to finals once more.

3. Anthony Davis. Even though Demarcus Cousins is injured and will be out for the remaining of the season... Anthony Davis prove once more that he can carry the league and put them into playoffs. He leads his team in points and rebounds and also in blocks, he is a work horse and his numbers are very scary, his numbers is the evidence that they can reach the second round in playoffs.

4. Kevin Durant. Durant is still one of the league's pure scorers, the Warriors is only in a second place right now that's why his rank is low, I'm pretty sure that when the warriors swept some teams in the playoffs then his rank will go high again.

5. Damian Lillard. Blazers is the most improved team this year, thanks to Damian's scoring prowess and clutch play making ability. His rank will continue to rise especially when they pass the first round playoffs for the first time in how many years.

IS THE HOUSTON ROCKETS THE REAL DEAL?

Ask this question to James harden and he will never hesitate to answer you YES. Yes, the houston rockets is a legitimate contender to win the championship. They have defense now, Chris Paul is still the best point guard in the NBA, his defense is outstanding and his toughness is what is missing in Houston Rockets before, now that the entered the roster... the rockets were so tough and they feel that they can beat anybody.

James Harden is the leading scorer in the NBA, he is also leading in assist, he is the complete package to beat the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers. The Rockets were so hungry, they are getting the respect now that they truly deserve.

Golden State Warriors is wounded, the Cavs has lost their identity. The Rockets were on a roll right now, they put up some winning streaks during tough stretches.

Harden is the most clutch player in the NBA now, this beard man is not afraid to take over during late stages of the game, he is fearless, he is so creative and the best defensive players in the NBA are so afraid to touch him. He is very good in selling calls may it be on three point line or in the shaded lane.

I think that the Houston Rockets can beat the Warriors in a 5 game series.

The offense of D'antoni is perfect for the players, they know their roles, they know what to do during late stages of the game.

This team has a killer instinct, their offense is better than the Warriors and their defense is much better than the Cavs. I think Chris Paul will have his first championship ring this season.

LEBRON JAMES BROKE MICHAEL JORDAN'S RECORD

Can we now call Lebron James as the GOAT? Lebron James broke Michael Jordans's record of consecutive games with double digit scoring. Lebron James made 867 consecutive games scoring 10 points or more, this record can only be achieved by the greatest players in the NBA history.

It's been a long time debate about who is the real GOAT, some people say it's Lebron, some people say it's still MJ.

We all know that Michael Jordan is the idol of Lebron James and Lebron himself will not deny that. In terms of athleticism and all around game we all know that MJ is no match for Lebron but in terms of winning mentality and being clutch, MJ has a very slight advantage to Lebron.

This debate will last for decades until someone finally made a name for himself. A lot of rookies wanted to prove something. There are new comers like Joel Embiid, Karl Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis, Lonzo Ball who are making a lot of noise.

One thing is for sure... Lebron James will do whatever it takes to beat Michael Jordan's legacy and he is very close of doing it.

IS THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS IN DANGER NOW?

Well, it's safe to say that they are going to make it to the second round but it's hard to say if they can make it to the eastern conference finals. Kyrie Irving is gone now, Kevin Love is out and the newly recruit players such as Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. shows no promise consistency. We don't know if Lebron James is happy after the trade but his numbers is not going down, we all know that Lebron "the King" James will elevate his game during the playoffs but we don't know if the supporting cast can deliver.

Lack of defense maybe the number one reason why Cavs is falling, Tryon Lue's job maybe in jeopardy if he can't make the Cavs reach the finals this season. J.R Smith's soup drama with the coaching stuff was already forgotten but Kyle Korver's shooting is not that consistent.

It's still 15 plus games for the Cavs and they can still put themselves on a better position to succeed. Right now they are on the 4th spot in east. Meanwhile, Toronto Raptors maybe locked in for the number one spot and Boston Celtics may take the second place.

The Cavs is pretty much sure to pass the first round but the question is... who will they face in the second round? Washington Wizards is deadly, Bradley Beal is proving them all why he is an all star this year, John Wall is recovering and he might be on the right timing for the come back.

What should the Cavs do? They should focus on defense, it is the only thing that might bring them to championship once again, Kevin Love should force the recovery and should play a couple of games before the playoffs.

Whether it is the end of the streak of Lebron James reaching the finals, the biggest problem that Cavs is facing is will Lebron James come back next season?
